About the Role
With a commitment to company positioning and excellence and customer satisfaction, we're seeking a talented, cerebral, and motivated Social Media Manager to to engage and support our social media audience with the goal of increasing brand awareness, net retention, and to help position Wellness Vacay Retreats as the travel industry’s premier retreat experience.
Responsibilities
- Organically grow our Instagram and LinkedIn channels/audiences.
- Work with Digital Community Manager to qualify and transfer leads for the social media → digital community pipeline.
- Conceptualize and write effective organic social posts that grab attention, engage platform users, and improve brand recognition, while ensuring alignment with existing client-facing messaging.
- Develop, implement, manage, and replenish our social content library, identifying message gaps, exploring new and dynamic formats and visuals (e.g., polls, infographics, videos, carousels).
- Design, develop, implement and manage the organic social publishing calendar, ensuring we publish the right content at the right time.
- Manage our social media channels to engage our social audiences on a daily basis across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- In line with our brand strategy, the Social Media Manager will optimize and drive our organic social media strategy (storylines, consistency of key messages, defining angles, new formats, new tactics, etc.).
- Optimize, own, and manage our social media calendar, working collaboratively with the retreat team to plan and publish content regularly.
- Create compelling content—10-15 posts per month—planning, scripting, and producing engaging posts that resonate with our audience around wellness, travel, and WVR product education.
- Note: All WVR images and video content will be pre-approved by Retreat Director before publication.
- Achieve weekly/monthly publishing goals to build consistent engagement and gain favor with platform algorithms.
- Schedule posts and ensure the final published post renders properly within each unique platforms’ specifications.
